ACME — Megan Anne Fasel and Thaddeus John Kuzma were united in marriage on Oct. 20, 2012, at Christ the King Catholic Church. The Rev. Ray Cotter officiated at the afternoon nuptials.
Jamie Hanophy of Columbus, Ohio, attended her friend as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Claire Janik of Chicago, Sara St. John of Fenton, Mich., and Michelle Kuzma, Kristen Burleson and Molly Schmid, all of Grand Rapids. Abby Stevens of Traverse City was the flower girl.
Alex Wieten and Matt Ostrowski, both of Grand Rapids, served as best men. Groomsmen were Jake Kwiatkowski, David Kuzma and Tobin Fasel, all of Grand Rapids, and Jordan Fasel of Columbus, Ohio. Wyatt Burleson of Grand Rapids served as ring bearer.
The newlyweds greeted guests at an evening reception hosted at Turtle Creek Casino and Hotel. Cocktails were followed by dinner and dancing. The couple honeymooned in Napa Valley, Calif., and Maui, Hawaii.
Megan is the daughter of Steve and Mary Fasel of Traverse City. She graduated from St. Francis High School and received a bachelor’s degree in interior design from Michigan State University. Megan currently is a healthcare applications specialist at Custer in Grand Rapids.
Thad is the son of Ted and Jan Kuzma of Rockford. He graduated from West Catholic High School and received a bachelor’s degree in HVAC-R engineering from Ferris State University. Thad currently is employed with Hedrick Associates in Grand Rapids as an inside sales representative.
