LELAND — Jeremy and Michael Connolly of Northport wish to announce the marriage of Erin Aubrey Connolly to John Paul McFadden, the son of James McFadden of Birch Run and the late Joyce Randall.
The couple were married on Sept. 29, 2012, in the garden at the Old Art Building along the river in Leland.
The Rev. Robin Long performed the ceremony. Musical accompaniment during the ceremony was provided by Festival Strings.
The bride's brother, Cory Connolly, was her best man.
The groom's daughter, Jade McFadden, was his maid of honor. Ashlyn McFadden, the groom's niece, was the flower girl.
Readings were done by the bride's cousin, Shannon Park, and the bride's mother.
Following the wedding, Ruby John and Dane Hyde entertained family and friends outdoors prior to a dinner reception at the Old Art Building.
Erin graduated from Northport Public School and received a bachelor's degree in communications from Michigan State University.
She is interning to complete a master's degree in social work from Grand Valley State University.
John has two associate degrees from Northwestern Michigan College and is completing a bachelor's degree in social work from Ferris State University.
The newlyweds are living in Traverse City.
