CHICAGO — Ashley Marie Willson of Traverse City and Matthew Adam Bykowski of Eden Prairie, Minn., were married on July 28, 2012, at Assumption Catholic Church in downtown Chicago. The Rev. Joseph Chamblain performed the 3 p.m. ceremony. Kyle Dickenson, Katherine Adam and Paula Burcher were readers.
Heather Tallinger of Birmingham, Mich., attended her sister as matron of honor. Ashley's bridesmaids were Alexi Boyce of Minneapolis, Lindsey Detwiler of Chicago, Kate Rasmussen of Aspen, Colo., Alex Alward of Austin, Texas, Erin Clancy of Birmingham, Mich., and Kori Thornberry of Mundelein, Ill. The bride's niece, Ava Tallinger of Birmingham, Mich. and cousin, Kaylee Keenan of Hermosa Beach, Calif., were the flower girls.
Matthew chose his brothers, Bennett and Carter of Eden Prairie, to serve as his best men. Groomsmen were Kevin Boyce and Nick Nalezny, both of Minneapolis, Jason Carlson of Savage, Minn., and Dan Smedberg and Dan Harke, both of Rochester, Minn. Jon Tallinger of Birmingham, Mich., and Allen Gould of Minneapolis served as ushers. The bride's cousin, Finn Keenan of Hermosa Beach, was the ring bearer.
The newlyweds greeted guests at a reception hosted at Fulton's on the River in downtown Chicago. They currently live in Chaska, Minn.
Ashley is the daughter of Thomas and Deborah Willson of Traverse City. She graduated from Traverse City Central High School and received a bachelor of science degree from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. Ashley is employed by Dell Inc. in Eden Prairie.
Matthew is the son of Bruce and Kathleen Bykowski of Eden Prairie. He graduated from Eden Prairie High School and received a bachelor's degree in business from Minnesota State University in Mankato. Matthew currently is employed by Code 42IT Computer Technologies in Minneapolis.
