Mitt Romney to speak in Detroit

DETROIT — The Detroit Economic Club said Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will address the group at the home of the Detroit Lions a few days before Michigan's primary.

The Feb. 24 event was moved Tuesday from Westin Book Cadillac hotel to Ford Field after tickets sold out. Michigan's presidential primary is Feb. 28.

The candidate's wife, Ann Romney, is to speak Feb. 20 at the Jackson County Republican Party Lincoln Day dinner. It's at the Jackson Community College Space Center.

On Feb. 16, presidential candidate and ex-U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum will address the Oakland County Republican Party.
