KENT CITY — Dorothy Louise Wheelock, born in 1926, died peacefully in her sleep, early Friday morning, Feb. 24, 2012, at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin; son, Michael Lynn; grandson, Michael Scott.
She leaves behind her daughter, Kathy and Don Poling; sons, Dennis, James and Robin, and Gary and Claudia; daughter-in-law, Marilyn; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services to be held on Thursday. March 1, at 1 p.m. at Hessel-Cheslek Funeral Home in Sparta. Interment will be in Chubbuck Cemetery, Kent City. Friends may meet the family at the funeral home on Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, March 1, one hour prior to the service.
