WYOMING, Mich. — Lindsey Ann Jacobs, 24, of Wyoming, Mich., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, in Wyoming.
Lindsey was born Feb. 21, 1988, in Berwyn, Ill. the daughter of James D. Jacobs and Debra J. (Reincke) Jacobs who survive.
She attended Suttons Bay Elementary. She enjoyed her ice skating lessons and participating in the Twin Bay Skating Club ice show. She attended Kalkaska Junior and Senior High Schools, participating in drama and art clubs.
Lindsey studied art and design at the Career Tech Center. After graduating high school in 2006, Lindsey attended The College for Creative Studies in Detroit.
Lindsey worked at the Bayshore Resort and AmericInn in Traverse City before moving to Grand Rapids. She was employed by ZZ Performance in Grand Rapids at the time of her death.
She was involved with the Kyoseikan Dojo in Grand Rapids studying Aikido. Lindsey was a talented artist and was interested in graphic art.
Lindsey is survived by her mother, Debra J. (Reincke) Moore; her grandparents, David (Marj) Reincke, James (Barb) Jacobs; three aunts, Terri Reincke (William) Siefen, Elizabeth Reincke (David) Whitt, Laura Jacobs (David) LaMie; an uncle, John Reincke and six cousins.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 4, at the Martinson Funeral Home of Suttons Bay. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 5 also at the Martinson Funeral Home. The Reverend Patricia Haas of the Keswick United Methodist Church, Suttons Bay, will officiate. Private family burial will be held in the spring.
