FROM STAFF REPORTS
RACINE, Wis. -- The Traverse City Wolves inaugural football season came to close Saturday night.
The Racine Raiders bolted to 22-0 lead at half en route to 32-0 North American Football League playoff win over the Wolves.
Traverse City finished 8-4. Racine, now 11-2, will advance to the North Division championship game Saturday against the St. Paul Pioneers.
Racine scored on its first possession when fullback Adam Chorazy took it in on a one-yard plunge.
The Raiders defense took over in the second quarter. Cornerback Donald Woodard intercepted a pass and returned it 25 yards for a score. Middle linebacker James Cichon then picked off another pass to set up the Raiders' third TD -- a six-yard Ron Ricciardi to Curtis Gordon pass.
The Wolves had three passes intercepted and allowed four sacks.
After a first-round bye, Traverse City beat London (Ontario) 20-6 last Saturday.
