The Traverse City Wolves posted their first win of the season on Saturday with a 32-0 victory over the host Southwest Michigan Punishers.
Defense was key for the Wolves (1-1), holding the Punishers to 86 total yards.
Alvin Sitkiewicz had a big game for TC, playing both sides of the ball. On defense, he recorded 10 tackles and three sacks. On offense, he scored two touchdowns.
Quarterback Pablo Bocardo was 11-for-24 for 142 yards with touchdown throws to Patrick Fancy and Justin Flowers. He also kicked a 43-yard field goal at the end of the first half to make it 10-0 Wolves at the break.
Mike Stagg also had an interception for TC.
The Wolves return home next weekend to host the West Michigan Tigers (0-1) at 7 p.m. at Thirlby Field.
