ST. IGNACE -- Forest Area 215-pounder Tom Hall qualified for the state wrestling finals with a second-place finish at the Division 4 regional in St. Ignace.
Hall was 2-1 for the day, recording pins of 47 seconds and 2:28 to get to the title match.
A sophomore, Hall is 37-2 for the season. The individual state finals are March 4-6 at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
Traverse City St. Francis Isaiah Schaub and Paul Britten will attempt to work their way back through the Division 4 consolation bracket on Saturday to wrestle for third place in their weight classes after semifinal losses Friday evening.
